The plumbing company set the initial protection and cutting lines.

A plumbing company hired Demohaulic for concrete removal so its plumbing crew could access pipes. The plumbing company installed the initial protective walls and spray-painted the cutting lines. Demohaulic added additional protective plastic on the walls and brought two additional HEPA air scrubbers before its concrete work began.

  • Added additional protective plastic on the walls
  • Brought two additional HEPA air scrubbers for the work area
  • Cut approximately 62 linear feet of concrete
  • Broke out and removed approximately 30 square feet of concrete
  • Hauled away the removed concrete and cleaned the work area

Scope boundary: the plumbing company installed the initial protective walls and spray-painted the cutting lines. Demohaulic did not perform the plumbing work, install the initial protective walls or spray-paint the cutting lines.

Containment / dust control

Add protection where the removal needs it.

The plumbing company had already installed the initial protective walls. Demohaulic added more protective plastic on the walls and brought two additional HEPA air scrubbers for its concrete-removal work. The added controls supported the contained handoff without suggesting Demohaulic installed the original walls.

Concrete cutting

Cut the approved access lines.

Demohaulic cut approximately 62 linear feet of concrete. The plumbing company, not Demohaulic, spray-painted the cutting lines before Demohaulic began its cutting work.

Concrete breakout / removal

Break out the section and remove it.

Demohaulic broke out approximately 30 square feet of concrete, removed the broken material and handled the heavy debris produced by the approved access scope. The photos show the opened access areas and the marked floor before the breakout; the final cleanup and haul-away were part of the documented scope.

Hauling

Move the broken concrete out.

Demohaulic hauled away the concrete removed from the work area. Plumbing remained with the plumbing company; Demohaulic handled the concrete cutting, breakout, removal, hauling and cleanup described here.

Photo record

The cut, the controls and the handoff.

These verified photos are grouped by the stage they document. The before-and-after images retain their original before / after labels. They show the marked floor and opened access areas; cleanup and haul-away remained part of the documented scope.

The result

Concrete removed. The plumbing crew can access the pipes.

Completed September 29, 2026, the Bloomfield Hills concrete-removal scope left the work area cleaned after approximately 62 linear feet of concrete was cut and approximately 30 square feet was broken out and removed. The plumbing company could continue its pipe-access work. Demohaulic did not perform plumbing, utility disconnects, trenching beyond the stated concrete removal, restoration or replacement work.
