The plumber's handoff

Your crew gets the access. We handle the concrete.

Send photos of the marked section, the basement route and anything that must stay protected. We scope the removal boundary, cut the slab, break out the marked section, remove the dirt and debris from the cut, haul it away and hand back a cleaner work area.

  • Saw cutting of basement floors, slabs and defined access channels
  • Breakout and removal of the marked concrete section
  • Dirt and debris removal from the cut
  • HEPA air scrubbers and practical dust control for the work area
  • Protection for surrounding walls, floors, doorways and the carry route
  • Clean haul-away and a clear site handed back to the plumber
Real plumbing-access work

Contain the mess. Open the path.

These verified September 29, 2026 Bloomfield Hills photos show the kind of concrete-access handoff a plumbing company can send out: containment, HEPA air scrubbing, and marked-floor before / after proof.

How the handoff works

Concrete out. Pipe work next.

The exact cut, access route and protective setup depend on the basement and the marked scope. The sequence stays simple.

01

Send the photos

Text the marked floor, room edges, route to the loading point and the section your crew needs opened.

02

Set the removal line

Confirm what leaves, what stays and which protective measures the finished property needs around the access area.

03

Cut and break out

We saw cut the agreed lines, break out the marked concrete, remove dirt and debris from the opening, and load the material.

04

Hand back the route

Concrete leaves with us when haul-away is included. The agreed area and carry path are cleaned for your plumbing crew.

Keep the trades clear

Concrete removal is our line.

  • Demohaulic does not perform plumbing or pipe work.
  • Utility disconnects stay with the plumbing company, property owner or licensed trade responsible for them.
  • Restoration, concrete replacement and finish installation are not part of this service.
  • Your crew or licensed trade controls the plumbing scope after the concrete is removed.

Verified project example

A Bloomfield Hills plumbing-access cut.

A plumbing company hired Demohaulic to cut approximately 62 linear feet of concrete and break out approximately 30 square feet so its crew could access pipes. Demohaulic added wall plastic, brought two additional HEPA air scrubbers, removed and hauled away the concrete, and cleaned the work area. The plumbing company handled the initial protective walls and spray-painted cutting lines.
